The ladder of jealousy is interesting, it is nice that is general, not only about relationships. It is great idea to provide concrete statements, as people are more likely to relate to them.

This has also given us some great ideas for the app which we will post soon, thanks!

The descriptions are a bit confusing because some of them seem to us a bit too much about jealousy in any relationship rather than intimate ones such as girlfriend/boyfriend. We have also been thinking of statements that describe jealousy and abuse so perhaps we can put them altogether like you have done which would be great?

We think this is a really great idea!

If you notice that things about a person /a friend are changing and you are concerned whether , ask other friends if they think they’ve changed. Talk to who they are going out with, talk to who you are concerned about, talk to a trusted adult.

If someone is checking your phone(being controlling) tell someone you can trust: your parents, friends, teachers, youth workers.

It was really out going because you can actually tell what the young person has been through even tho it was really hard to be in a abusive relationship with a person who is abusive but when you, start going out with the person they don't even show their true fellings about you but then they start acting a bit strange about more than 3 to 7 weeks thro and then it starts by checking your mobile, your emails, following you around and then they start being abusive such as shouting punching and throwing things or even you against a wall then its hard to live or even leave the person that you love. I know about a have been through this. Here are the things that you should know about getting help - talk to someone about it - see a counsellor etc. hope things go well in the the future and start to ease down.

So, I want to ask all of you, do you think that being abused in a relationship only means your partner hitting you or physically damaging you? Mental abuse is really underrated and often goes unnoticed which really concerns me because it can hurt just as much as physical if not more.

I think everyone should know more about this

Hi Cyprus 10. We really like the idea of an interactive questionnaire as part of the ap. How about questions like these? Does your partner treat you with respect?  How much time do you spend with your boyfriend Are you happy in your relationships? Does your partner hit you Does your partner go with the opposite sex? Does your boyfriend do the right thing? Do they cheat on you Do you go out for a date or just go to bed? Does your partner respect you and your family and his family? Do you have to cope with abuse? Does your partner stop you from seeing your friends who are the same sex/ different sex? Do you love your partner? Does your partner buy you a present for special occasions? Does your partner comment about the way you dress? Does your partner take you out for a meal? How much time do you spend together? Does your partner listen to you? Do you feel comfortable with your partner? Are you happy together?

Can the app have a tool that can help you 'assess' whether your relationships is healthy or not? Like a questionnaire that you answer and then you can 'score' your answers to see if certain behaviors in the relationship are healthy or not

The app needs to include info particularly on how the new media can affect young people's relationships. Like the video we watched about sexting ('Megan's Story').

I think the app should also be interactive somehow. For instance it can include the various 'polls'. Not only the results of the polls but also the opportunity to vote on a topic. And to be interactive in other ways so it can be interesting. To include videos for instance. Not just plain information.
